DNA: The New Digital Data Storage Device

From photos and videos to text to tweets, Worlds digital data is more than doubling every two years. To accumulate this exponential growth we really need a challenging storage medium.Surprisingly, Researchers found that DNA can accommodate this growing need.
DNA, What is known to be the building block of life can now be used as a Digital storage medium.Without doubt DNA can fix this issue with its two amazing features

 it is long lasting and
it is very much denser medium to store data.

Talking about its storage density(Theoretically) just 4 - 5 grams of DNA is sufficient to store whole worlds information.
Recently researchers at Harvard Medical school said, they developed a system, which will enable data to be stored using DNA.
The work is being carried out by George Church and Sri Kosuri. These people turned a HTML book of 5.27 MB into DNA code
