Google today announced that it will update its search Algorothm to ignore or lower the search results of web domains with high number of copyright removal notices.
Starting next week, we will begin taking into account a new signal in our rankings: the number of valid copyright removal notices we receive for any given site.Since last year the company has been gathering data(complaints) from Copyright owners. Couple of months back Google published this data in its Google Transparency Report .
