Verizon Wireless will start selling a version of Samsung's Galaxy Tab running on the carrier's 4G network July 28.
The LTE-supported Tab will feature "download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage areas," says Verizon in a statement.
A 16-GB model will sell for $529.99, while the 32-GB version costs $629.99. Data plans start at $30 a month for 2 GB to 10 GB for $80. For those who want to skip the 4G altogether, Verizon will also have a 16-GB Wi-Fi-only model for $499.99.
For those unfamiliar with the Samsung tablet, the Galaxy Tab runs Google's Android 3.1 operating software -- nicknamed Honeycomb -- supports Adobe Flash , and features a 10.1-inch HD touch-screen, front- and rear-facing cameras as well as 1080p HD video playback.
